Steps:
First, I made a layer called "def points" and made five 5 x 5 squares for each layer using the rectangle tool
Then I did what the final result would look like

For the red layer, I used the text box tool
For the white layer, I used the circle tool to create circles for the holes that would show the red layer, made another layer called "score", made that the current layer, and made the snowman's face using the circle, line, and arc tools.

For the blue layer, I used the line tool in the def points layer to make the outlines of the mountain, tree, the snowman's arms, and the snowman's hands. I used the text box to write "Happy holidays from Design + Entrepreneurship" in a script font. I used the circle tool to make the snowflakes and the snowman's body. For the snowman's body, I overlapped the circles and used the "Trim" tool to get rid of the lines in between. For the snow in the snowglobe, I used the arc tool and connected each curve with the rest of the lines and circles, using the "JOIN" command to make them one object.

For the green layer, I used the line tool to make the outline for the tree and used the arc tool with the SNAP Mode on for the garland.

In the yellow layer, I also used the line tool to create a star shape, zoomed in to make sure each line was closed, selected each line, and used the "JOIN" command.
I then made each layer red so the machine would know to cut it.
I changed the current layer to "def points" and used the rectangle tool to make five 18 x 32 boxes, which is the size of our laser cutter bed at South Tech

Then I copied each layer into each box for the designated color, selected each object in the box, and used the "OVERKILL" command to make sure the machine won't cut out double lines.
In order to print you can type "PRINT" in the command bar or press ctrl p to bring this up. I chose the printer, made the plot scale ratio 1:1, selected the window(what I want to print/cut) by selecting two outer corners on opposite sides, and unselected the other boxes.

I selected "Preview" to see what it would look like in the laser cutter then selected "Apply to layout" and "Okay" which took me to this window.

In "Settings" I went under "Material" I selected "Natural" then selected "Mat Board" and for "Material size" I used a dial caliper to measure a piece of the paper we used and found it to be 0.009 inches
I sprayed every layer besides red with this adhesive and assembled the card with the help of my classmates and teacher.
Last but not least, my class and I went around the school to give the card to the staff to spread joy. Hope you have a happy holiday, thanks for reading.
